Physically, books can only unfold in one direction.
And so it follows that what’s written is one story, one ending.
Even with this, brilliant minds had given us ways to enjoy more than one ending,
like in choose your own adventure books.
Now in such stories, what if pages turn without a “Go to Page…”?
If navigation to said next page is within a tap?
We have here a way of letting interactive stories unfold,
to get to “a different page” each time as you, the reader, chooses…
Also, “surprises”, even chances, in addition to choice, can be involved.
Simulate in a story the “what-ifs” of real life by having a number of possible outcomes while unobvious signs were there all along…
By obscuring such choices, “unforeseen” triggers can lead to “unexpected” outcomes…
unless you turn hints ON.
This site features such stories, those with more than one outcome.
